Good Neighbors provides powered milk, vitamin, nutritious food, and daily necessities to 2,900 children living in 9 orphanages in North Korea. And help children to grow up healthy by promoting proper nutrition.

Good Neighbors help children grow in pleasant surroundings by improving orphanage conditions such as constructing a new orphanage, remodeling, and supporting child care goods.

Beneficiary : Pyeongyang the Forth Elementary School, Moranbong the First Middle School, Topje Middle School (4000 students)

  • Pyeongyang the Forth Elementary School : established Feb. 1st in 1954, 4 grade levels, 30 classes
  • Moranbong the First Middle School : established Apr. 2nd in 1954, 6 grade levels, 110 teachers, school for the gifted
  • Topje Middle School : building size(4 stories), area 5,560㎡(school buildin 4,500㎡, cafeteria 530㎡, auditorium 530㎡), playground 4,000㎡

Since the first visit to North Korea in 1997, including Il-ha, Lee, the president of Good Neighbors, Good Neighbors Delegation has visited North Korea overall 192 times with 2,043 people by 2009. (4 times in 1998, once in 1999, twice in 2000, 11 times in 2001, 20 times in 2002, 28 times in 2003, 14 times in 2004, 28 times in 2005, 28 times in 2006, 28 times in 2007, 16 times in 2008, 4 times in 2009)
